Candace has had the privilege of working with numerous Bankruptcy Trustees in the Northern District of Texas to assist in liquidating distressed assets in bankruptcy. Her track record of selling the hardest of white elephants has earned her the referral business within the network of Trustees serving this area.
/>In addition to having a Senior Property Tax Consultant license, Candace is approved and listed on the Property Tax Arbitrators in the State of Texas. She is appointed cases for many of the larger counties, including Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis and Tarrant Counties. Her vast knowledge in real estate gives her and advantage over other arbitrators and she is well respected for being impartial to the cases she takes on.
Chris Taylor has been with Candace Rubin since 1991. She assists in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and in property tax reduction. She is extremely knowledgeable of protest protocol and orchestrates the protests from start to finish for the tax agents. Deadlines are critical, whether it is a protest for valuation, homestead exemption or agricultural exemption and Chris has more than 22 years’ experience in handling such deadlines and filing the necessary forms. Her attention to detail and keen eye for variances has proved invaluable, season after season.
Ronnie grew up in Dallas and worked as a school teacher before entering the Telecomm Industry in the late 1980’s.
Having had great success reorganizing the training department of his first company, Ronnie became the manager of all of the companies call centers. Gaining experience managing hundreds of employees in multiple cities gave Ronnie future opportunities to streamline operations for several companies in several cities.
With the collapse of the Telecomm industry in the early 1990’s, Ronnie entered the Real Estate and Appraisal field becoming licensed in Texas as both a real estate agent and a commercial appraiser. Working for the Dallas Central Appraisal District for seventeen years gave Ronnie broad exposure to all aspects of the Real Estate industry. During his tenure at the District, Ronnie began working in real estate and has ten years of experience working with both Commercial and Residential buyers and sellers.
In January 2012, Ronnie left the Dallas Central Appraisal District to form Metrotax Property Tax Consultants LLC. Ronnie now works full time focusing on the Commercial side of Real Estate with Candace Rubin Real Estate.
Candace was raised in Arizona and graduated from University of Pacific in Stockton, California. During her undergraduate years, she spent a year in Bangalore, India and after college she traveled extensively. She joined the Peace Corps. and served in Monrovia Liberia for a two year tour. Candace loves to explore the world and learn as much as she can about all Countries and Cultures and takes at least one major trip annually to Europe, South America, Africa and Asia.
She earned her real estate license in 1976 in Tucson Arizona and moved to Dallas in 1978. She went to work immediately upon arrival at Henry S. Miller Commercial downtown and was the only Female Agent from 1978-1982. Mr. Miller was quite skeptical to hire a female as they were simply not in Commercial Sales and her first year at Miller, she was voted Rookie of the Year based on her sales volume. She took the plunge into the male dominated field of commercial sales, and excelled. She liked the inner city and her unconventional approach and attention to detail made her a success from her first year. She continued to be a top producer for Henry Miller and left in 1983 to form her own company. She got a taste of running a shop her way and found that she liked it. In the 80’s when the market was down, Candace took on several large industrial portfolio’s nationwide and liquidated over 200 “White Elephants'” and maximized values so successfully that she remains as In-house real estate advisor still today.
History has proven that Candace can sell anything she really likes. Today her clients number well into the thousands. She has represented many businesses, investors, professional athletes, as well as movie stars. She has built an honorable reputation with some of the most influential people in the Dallas community.

She was a volunteer for 22 years for Radio & Reading Resource, is a member of the NTCIV (North Texas Council of International Visitors) and frequently participates in Steak Team Mission, which cooks dinner a few times each year to our troops throughout the United States and abroad.
